I usually do simple sketches almost out of colors using a pencil or a pen for line art and it also can be with flat colors. Bust only.

Here I draw a half body portrait with colors, shadows, some lights and effects. Maybe it could be simplier, but just if you want it.

If you are looking for a special art for your character, this is the perfect option since I'll draw they in full body with all possible details, elements and effects. However, this option will take me more time to finish the piece, then don't resquest this option if you're in a hurry!
